Google+ for iOS

Google+ for iOS just got updated (sorry for the screenshots in swedish but, I’m swedish). Google+ updates and suddenly we have a new social network, all posts with a picture is presented in a different way if you compare it with the browser version – and not really for the better.

Google fixed the main issue with mentions slowing down the iOS app, but still there is no sign of notifications on the top bar or how to manage your Google+ Page.

It’s OK not to be able to manage your Google+ Page on the iOS app, but this change of presenting individual posts is a bit strange. Unless the browser version keeps up with the app, this feels like two different social networks. I don’t feel confident that I’ve read what Peter Svenonius or Nicole Haman have published because I have to click through and see what the posts about.

It’s a step in the right direction but a long way to go.
